"Sélection de Grains Nobles" is a specific classification for exceptional naturally rich and sweet late harvest wines which are the result of a great patience and experience.
"Holder" is the best hillside of Wihr-au-Val for Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris. The soil, composed of granite and clay, offers them their opulence, complexity and extreme exquisiteness.
In order to obtain an outstanding concentration, only berries affected by noble rot were harvested, in the oldest part of the "Holder" which produces very low yields.
